13th Annual Benefit Concert for the Cure
Battle of the Babes
Battle of the Babes just wrapped up on Sunday and it was quite a turnout!
We did it, y’all! Enough last-minute donations came in to push us up over that next thousand mark! Thank you all for your generosity; we are so grateful that you help us do this every year. Now for the question that’s been keeping you awake since Sunday…. how much was raised, and which band won? Drumroll please…..
Driven Orlando FL takes the crown this year, raising just north of $2,000! Second place goes to Naughty Naughty Band, with a little over $1,800 in donations. Harlequin came in third, a hair shy of $1,600.
Altogether the event was a rousing success, and we are pleased as punch to announce that we will be presenting Charlene’s Dream / Cancer Hope and Healing Program with a giant check for $11,000! We’ll also give them a regular-sized one, because those big checks just won’t fit in the ATM, no matter which way you turn them. Anyway, thank you all again; your support and generosity is what keeps us going!
